The vegetation in Musakhel consists mainly of grasses and spiny scrubs. Grass and fodder plants are fairly numerous in the district. Some are used as medicine. Other plants and shrubs are used as fodder for goats, sheep, cattle, and camels.

The many various trees provide fruits, fuel wood, and timber to the people.
