Climate Jhall Magsi
The climate of the district is dry and hot. From November to the middle of March climatic conditions are very pleasant. The remaining months are hot, especially June and July present hell like conditions. No records regarding minimum and maximum temperature are being kept, but the temperature is considered similar to that of Sibi and Jacobadad.

Rainfall in Jhall Magsi district is very small. No records are being kept within the district, but the average rainfall is estimated about 75 mm annually. In neighbouring Jacobabad the total rainfall for 1995 was measured 103 mm.
The winter rains, locally called ‘lacy’, fall in January and February, the rains in March and April are called ‘chaitr’. Most rain falls in July and August. The direction of winds in winter, locally called ‘cambia’, is from north to south. The winds in April and May, called ‘lookh’, blow from south to north.
