Volley-ball is the most popular game played in district Jhall Magsi. It is limited to major towns of the district. Previously, many games were played. These games included wrestling (Malkhra), Kabdi Kabdi, Gully Danda (Diki Dakar) and kiting (Laghar). But these games have come to an end, due to various reasons, including the introduction of tea restaurants where people can watch satellite TV, TVs in homes and because of the lack of interest of the government in this sector. There are no sport facilities available for women whatsoever.

Government involvement in sports is non-existent. Their is one private club named Zafar Aziz. Annually a national level tournament is arranged by this club at the district head quarter Gandawah. It is usually done during the winter season.

Sports are very important, especially for the youth. But the situation regarding sports in the district presents a dark picture. Almost all outdoor games are non-existent. These are replaced by indoor games like cards playing and carom boards and TV watching. The situation is creating many problems, including use of narcotic, health problems, gambling and anti-social activities among the youth.
