The taxes are collected by the District Council, Town Committees, Union Councils, Board of Revenue, Provincial Government, and Federal Government. The District Council collects the tax on livestock and zila tax. The Union Council collects water charges at local level. The Town Committee collects water charges, sanitation fee, octroi, and business license fees. The Board of Revenue is responsible to collect the agricultural tax and property tax. The Provincial Government receives vehicle registration fees and mining lease fees. The Income tax and business license fees are collected by the Federal Government.
