Arms Loralai
Every family is well armed and looks after their property etc; specially in rural areas of the district. Although Loralai district is peaceful, it is customary among the people to carry arms.
Due to the Afghan war the supply of advanced types of arms such as kalashnikovs have increased tremendously. It is also fashionable among Sardars and notables to keep advanced types of automatic weapons. The majority of the Pashtoon society is regarding the weapon as the ornament of a man.
