Political Parties Loralai
There are many political parties and no single party is popular with the people. The major parties are Jamiat Ullamah Islam (JUI), Pakhtoon Khawa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP), Muslim League and Pakistan People Party.
The role of women in the political parties is negligible, due to the high illiteracy rate and a lack of awareness. Although seats are allocated to women in the local governement institutions, their representation is very poor. Women have no role or say and are in fact invisible in the political arena.
